Srinagar: An excessive venomous snake gave protection personnel nervous moments when it was noticed on the lawns of previous Main Minister and Countrywide Convention vice president Omar Abdullah’s official home right here, officials reported on Saturday.
Official sources explained to GNS a group from the wildlife office was deputed to the residence who caught the snake on Thursday.
“A Wildlife SOS team in Srinagar rescued the extremely risky snake, noticed at Omar Abdullah’s residence on May possibly 9 and it was launched in Dachigam,” they reported.
“The Viper, domestically termed ‘Gunas’ is very venomous,” they said, introducing, “The snake was rescued by rescuer Aliya Mir.”
Pertinently, in 2017, a cobra was observed at the residence of former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in Jammu.
