Mumbai: Two of the SpiceJet’s Boeing passenger planes- a single from Mumbai and other from Bengaluru- endured mid-air specialized glitches, forcing their pilots to terminate journeys with a person flight landing back in Mumbai and next diverted to Nagpur Saturday.
SpiceJet flight SG-611, which departed from Mumbai’s Chhatrapapati Shivaji Maharaj Global Airport for Chennai all-around 7.30 am, returned to the city airport thanks to a mid-air technological glitch just after remaining airborne for about 16 minutes, a resource stated.
A SpiceJet spokesperson verified the return of its Chennai flight to Mumbai because of to a “technical” concern.
“The aircraft has already departed again for its desired destination around 10 am soon after the the engineers rectified the glitch,” the spokesperson claimed.
In a comparable incident, the airline’s New Delhi-sure flight SG 8720 from Bengaluru was diverted to Nagpur soon after the pilot described some situation to the ATC and sought a diversion.
“SpiceJet flight SG 8720 working on Bangalore-Delhi route was diverted to Nagpur because of to a complex concern.
Passengers were being served refreshments at Nagpur. An choice aircraft was despatched to Nagpur and the travellers have now boarded the flight to Delhi,” the airline explained in a statement.
The spokesperson, nonetheless, did not share the variety of travellers on board the two Boeing 737 planes. @PTI
