Srinagar Master Plan 2035 has been approved, HC told

Srinagar: The Srinagar Master Strategy 2015-2035 has been permitted by the State Administrative Council (SAC) vide notification no. SRO 160, dated 7 March, 2019, the Chief City Planner Kashmir knowledgeable the Superior Court docket on Friday.
The position report filed by the Chief City Planner in PIL no.05/2013 in scenario titled Mujeeb Andrabi Vs Condition of J&K & Ors, said that the SAC was delighted to express the approval of Grasp Approach (2015-2035), Srinagar Metropolitan Area (SMR), to Administrative Department which is Housing & Urban Enhancement Division vide SAC conclusion no.40/5/2019 dated 13 February, 2019.
The standing report also revealed that the new master approach for Srinagar stands notified by the administrative department vide SRO no.160 dated 7 March, 2019.
“Approved copies of Learn Prepare-2035 have also been produced available to the establishments/ places of work in both smooth and tricky duplicate for the details and inspection of general public viz Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Deputy Commissioners of Srinagar, Budgam, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Bandipora and Pulwama. Also copies have been forwarded to Vice Chairman, Srinagar Growth Authority (SDA), Commissioner Municipal Company Srinagar (SMC),” the report described.
A duplicate of the accepted Grasp Plan comprising Report and Proposed Land Use Approach was also submitted before the court.
