Jammu: The Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has approached the Election Commission (EC) searching for action against the BJP, Zanskar Buddhist and Zanskar Gonpa Associations for allegedly threatening persons in Ladakh constituency of social boycott if they did not vote in favour of the saffron social gathering.
The JKPCC sought stern motion in opposition to these organisations and the BJP, its spokesperson said.
“The matter really should be taken severely by the EC and the CEO of J&K. The INC prospect forwarded the complaints to the CEO but so far no action has been taken,” he explained.
