Srinagar: A shocking video clip has gone viral on social media exhibiting a brown bear tumbling into a stream from a steep mountain ridge after remaining stoned by people in Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir, prompting authorities to launch an operation to trace the animal.
The eight-2nd video clip — shared on Twitter by former director Tourism, Kashmir, Mehmood Shah –- exhibits a brown bear remaining stoned by people in Drass region of Kargil district in Ladakh location of the point out.
The bear experienced climbed a steep mountain ridge immediately after staying chased by the men and women from the nearby village, but fell into a stream soon after losing balance as stones ended up thrown at the animal.

Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Baseer-ul-Haq Choudhary has purchased an inquiry and groups from the wildlife and other departments have been constituted to trace the brown bear.
