Srinagar: Back home immediately after dealing with questioning by the National Investigation Company (NIA) in New Delhi in a funding circumstance, Hurriyat Convention (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq informed a Friday congregation at Jamia Masjid listed here that the resistance management would not alter its stand on Kashmir concern owing to “coercion”.
The Mirwaiz said that elections would have no bearing on the problem and it needs to be tackled. It is our policy that Kashmir problem has to be resolved. If not these days, but tomorrow, there has to be a tranquil answer to the situation. There is no option before India, Pakistan and the Kashmiri management than to tackle the challenge, he claimed.
We will not adjust our stand simply because of this coverage of use of drive or coercion, he mentioned addressing the people who had gathered for Friday prayers at the mosque. Mirwaiz mentioned Kashmir is a political difficulty which has to be solved politically. “Governments will occur and go, but the basic difficulty will keep on being there till it is not resolved, he said. The Hurriyat (M) chairman said the folks of Kashmir and the armed forces of India and Pakistan had been “getting consumed” in the conflict, but New Delhi “is not using any initiative” aimed at resolving the situation.
The Mirwaiz returned to the valley on Thursday following paying 3 times in New Delhi in which he was questioned by the NIA in relationship with a scenario linked to alleged funding of militants teams and separatist organisations in Jammu and Kashmir.
